I first met Zach and Dani at their bridal consult a few months ago. At our first meeting I could tell that they were kind and easy going. And when they booked me for their wedding August of 2016 I was beyond excited! I love having the opportunity to do engagement shoots with my couples because it allows me to get to know them better before their big day. They have genuine care for one another and Zach is so gentle with Dani. The way they look at one another is breathtaking.
They hiked with me so we could capture all the perfect shots and the lighting couldn't have been better! It was a cool crisp day which only added to the Fall engagement session experience. It was perfect and I'm sure their wedding day will be beyond perfection! Congratulations Zach and Dani! I can't wait to celebrate with you next year!
Of all the months September is definitely my favorite! I love Fall! I love that in Montana September days can still be spent outside, but I can cuddle up under a cozy blanket inside. Fall means I can anticipate Thanksgiving and Christmas and time with family just around the corner. I love the air in the Fall; it is fresh, cool and crisp. I love the colors of Fall leaves and the crunch under my feet when I'm walking over them. I love the smells in the Fall; pumpkin, marshmallows, hot chocolate, apple cider and sometimes the smoke from a wood-burning stove. I love that I get to dress in layers and pull out my favorite sweaters, boots and scarves. I love that I get to spend more time indoor with my children after a busy on the go summer. I love that families and seniors are squeezing in final photo sessions before the winter months hit! It has been a fun September connecting with clients and capturing their personalities in pictures. Since I had a calm from wedding season in September I wanted to share my August and September sessions with you.
