Jesse & Amanda said "I Do" on November 12th outside in Butte, MT! Amanda had dreamed of having an outdoor wedding, but when she told me her wedding date I will admit I was a bit skeptical. Montana weather can be unpredictable so I was not banking on Amanda getting her way. To my surprise we had no snow and the weather was even in the 40's. We were able to take a lot of outdoor pictures and managed to even be comfortable with the temperature.
The ceremony was held at the Mountain Con. It offers beautiful views of Butte and was perfect for Jesse & Amanda's wedding. We did start to feel the chill at the ceremony, but it could not compete with the warmth we felt from this beautiful couple as they committed their lives to one another. There was so much depth and love that Jesse & Amanda expressed towards one another and I know that we all saw and felt it.
There was a lot of emotion on this day for the bride and groom and their families. Even I got teary throughout the day. Amanda lost her mom to cancer and would have given anything to have her mom present on her wedding day. In honor of her mom the bride, groom & their wedding party wore angel pins. Amanda said that they had an angel looking down on them. Her bouquet had a beautiful charm of her mom's picture.
The reception was held at the Star Lanes, a local bowling alley & conference center. Amanda is an avid bowler so we thought it would be fun to incorporate bowling into her wedding pictures. Jesse, Amanda & the wedding party were so much fun to photograph and the Star Lanes staff was exceptionally accommodating. Jesse & Amanda's friends and family made their reception a lot of fun with all their dancing and energy.
Jesse & Amanda thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. It was a perfect day and you are a beautiful couple! I hope you always love the way you loved on your wedding day and that you have fun along the way!
