Todd & Sierra {Married} Choteau, MT

When Sierra contacted me about possibly photographing her and Todd's wedding I was very excited!  While I didn't know them well, they are a part of our Chi Alpha family in Helena, and my husband always spoke so highly of them. One of the things that I love about Chi Alpha is that it doesn't matter what campus we are on, or what state we are in, we are family simple as that!

From our first meeting Todd & Sierra impressed me.  They were warm, kind, easy to connect with and had a strong desire to glorify Jesus in their personal lives and in their relationship.  This desire was continually evident throughout their wedding ceremony.  It was a beautiful ceremony where God was worshipped through their words and actions. Their first kiss as husband and wife was their very first kiss ever and it held such meaning and promise.

Sierra had a great attitude the entire day.  While getting ready they lost power and water.  She made the best of it and washed her face outside using a water bottle.  When she was done getting ready she looked absolutely stunning! The weather was beautiful most of the day, but shortly into the reception the skies opened and rain poured! Thankfully they had tents for guests and the wedding party was able to squeeze in and keep celebrating.  Their dance floor turned into a slip and slide which brought quite the entertainment.  I can't say I've ever seen a slip and slide at a wedding!  I appreciated the way Todd, Sierra, their family, wedding party and guests made the very best out of the rain.

Finally the rain stopped and we were able to use the dance floor for it's intended purpose!  The guests kept the dancing going and had lots of fun together.  I even danced a bit!  How can music be playing and one not dance!? It was a perfect celebration of two wonderful people who chose to become one!

Todd & Sierra thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day as your photographer.  It was a beautiful, God honoring wedding and so much fun!  I pray that as you live life as husband and wife you will continue to keep God at the center of your relationship.  I pray your marriage will be filled with Jesus, joy and laughter!  And that when there are hard moments you'll press into Jesus and one another.  Congratulations!
