Corey & Alli {Engaged} Butte, Montana

I had a wonderful time with Corey & Alli during their engagement session. There is never a guarantee what kind of weather an outdoor photo session in March will be and this day was no exception.  All day a light snow fell and whirled around, but for a brief hour and half it stopped.  We were able to capture some beautiful images for Corey and Alli during this pause in weather.  As soon as we were done the snow began again.  I'm ever so thankful that the weather cooperated and I think you will to when you see their engagement pictures. Cloudy days are my favorite for photographing outside as it provides such beautiful lighting.  Corey and Alli braved the cold, snuggled and gave me some amazing moments to capture.  I love engagement sessions because it always gives me a special glimpse into my couples and the love they share!  These two definitely adore each other and have a lot of fun together.   I cannot wait for Corey & Alli's October wedding!

Eric & Janaye {Engaged} Butte, Montana

Eric & Janaye's engagement session was also the first time that I got to meet this beautiful couple in person.  I always love when I get to photograph engagements before I photograph the wedding because it allows me to get to know the couple better.  It is fun to watch how a couple interacts during engagement pictures as it gives me an idea how they will be on their wedding day.  Eric & Janaye were shy in front of the camera unless they were looking at each other.  Being able to connect with one another as if there was no camera or photographer present allowed me to truly capture my favorite images from their engagement session.  They put one another at ease and had a connection that was stunning to say the least!  I cannot wait for their July 4th wedding and all their day will hold!

Kenneth Paul III {Newborn} Butte, Montana

I have been moving towards specializing in engagement & wedding photography, but when I had a friend who had the most perfect little boy ask me to take newborn pictures I just could not say no.  This sweet little boy, Kenneth Paul III, aka Kp3, was an absolute angel during his session.  After a bottle and some cuddles he snuggled right in and didn't mind being gently moved for poses.  He represented dad with a cute little helmet and skateboard and big brother Kyle, who recently enlisted with the Army National Guard, with a tiny military hat.  I still can't get over how perfect Kp3's skin is, how kissable his little round cheeks are and don't get me started on his dark silky baby hair. For a mom of 3, who has come to terms with having no more babies, he made my heart ache just a little for another baby of my own.  However, my husband is strong and can not be swayed by even the cutest baby, so I don't think you will be hearing any new announcements from us.  Maybe this precious baby boy will give a few of you the baby bug; now wouldn't that be fun!
